Who We Are
Christian Life Fellowship...began in 1975 when Pastor Jack Becker moved from Boise, Idaho to pastor a group of Christians who had been meeting in a home in Ontario for Bible Study. From there, with God's leading, Bible Studies emerged across the West Treasure Valley and the church experienced great growth both spiritually and numerically. Then, the city-based Bible study groups began to meet on Sunday's for corporate services.
Today, around 300 people make CLF their church home.
Our mission is simply to develop followers of Jesus Christ.
We do this by studying what Jesus taught and doing what Jesus did.
Worship is one of the highest values at CLF. Because of this, we dedicate the first 30 minutes of our service to praising the Lord in worship and song. During this time, we hope you’ll express yourself in the way you’re most comfortable…sitting, standing, tapping your foot or even getting a little excited!
Reaching pre-Christians with the Gospel is our primary purpose for small groups. Also the Christian life works best when we share life together in the caring community of a small group. Let us help you plug into a home group.
We believe each Christian plays an active role in missions by either “going” or “sending.” We support many missionaries around the world through prayer and financial assistance.
We believe prayer changes everything. To submit a prayer request, please post a request under the contact us page or call the church office 889-7264 or e-mail your request to email@example.com.
We have many life aligning ministries with trained prayer counselors to help you overcome the challenges of life.
Tithes & Offerings
We encourage our church family to participate regularly in giving of their tithes, offerings and time. The offering is collected by passing baskets during the announcements.
Children, Youth, Men’s & Women’s, Small Groups, Training & Equipping Classes, and Outreach.
Some of our Values & Culture:
Biblical discipleship - it's all in the Word. We want each believer to study the Word of God with understanding and insight.
Enjoy healthy supportive relationships - in church, marriage, family and with peers.
Simplicity - we will not use manipulation, deception, or coercion to motivate people to participate in church life.
Prayer - our life link to God. We pray, God hears and His help comes in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Sharing our Faith - we love to tell others of God’s work in our lives.
Cultural Relevance - we use contemporary music and seek to develop an atmosphere in which unchurched people of the Treasure Valley feel at home.
Food Fun - Espresso drinks and coffee are available in the foyer before services. Donations support our Youth Ministries.
Questions - Use the Connection Card (located in the back of each chair) to ask us questions about CLF. You don’t have to fill in the entire card to submit a question - just let us know where to direct the answer (phone number, e-mail or mailing address).
